Williamson

Williamson is a family-owned manufacturer of infrared pyrometers for industrial applications. Through thoughtful pyrometer design and careful attention to wavelength selection, Williamson pyrometers can accurately view through common industrial interferences including steam, flames, combustion gases, water, plasma and oil.

Wavelength selection

Williamson specializes in short-wavelength single-wavelength pyrometers, dual-wavelength pyrometers, and multi-wavelength pyrometers.

Single Wavelength sensors - there are three distinct single-wavelength pyrometer technologies: short-wavelength, long-wavelength & specialty-wavelength.

Dual / Multi wavelength sensors - Williamson offers two types of multi-wavelength pyrometers: MW and MWx.

Infrared pyrometers

Williamson infrared pyrometers are used in a number of different industries including the following:

  • steel

  • aluminum

  • incineration

  • glass

  • petrochemical

  • semiconductor

Calibration systems

The purpose of calibration is to maintain accuracy, comply with industry standards, regulations, and quality control systems, and ensure that electronic devices meet established specifications and requirements.

Systems are categorized according to the physical quantities they are designed to measure. Together, these standards cover instruments that measure various physical quantities such as electromagnetic radiation (RF probes), sound (sound level meter or noise dosimeter), time and frequency (intervalometer), ionizing radiation (Geiger counter), light (light meter), mechanical quantities (limit switch, pressure gauge, pressure switch), and, thermodynamic or thermal properties (thermometer, temperature controller).
